Family-Owned. Coach-Built. Trusted by 160+ Springfield Homeowners.

Donnie Curran spent over 11 years coaching Men’s Lacrosse — five as the Head Coach for the Republic Varsity Team, followed by six as the Head Coach for the Men’s Team at Missouri State University. During that time, he learned that five key attributes separate a championship-caliber team from an average one: Training, Attitude, Effort, Commitment, and Example.

Those principles translate directly into business.

  • Training comes first — the right preparation and practices are essential for delivering truly high-quality work.
  • Attitude matters every day; you have to show up with positivity and purpose.
  • Effort seems obvious, but many people fall short of the effort required to perform at a high level.
  • Commitment means striving for excellence in everything we do, every single day.
  • And his personal favorite, Example — everyone on our team must lead by example and embody these five attributes. No excuses. Only results.

When his wife, Michele, and he started Pro Painting & More in 2024, they built the company around those same standards. They’re not just another painting business — they’re your neighbors here in Springfield, Missouri, and they’re building something they can be proud of: a company that treats your home with the same care they’d give their own.

Since launching, their team has completed over 300 projects throughout Springfield, using more than 4,000 gallons of premium Sherwin-Williams paint. With over 50 years of combined experience, we are proud members of the Painting Contractors Association (PCA) and maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

They’re the team that shows up on time, communicates clearly, and backs every project with a 3-year workmanship warranty. That’s the difference between a contractor and a coach — they don’t cut corners, they don’t make excuses, and they don’t disappear when the job gets tough.
